GENERALIZED PROBLEM OF THE LIMITING MIGRATION AND DIFFUSION CURRENTS IN THREE-ION SYSTEMS

Ionic transport by migration and diffusion was analyzed theoretically in systems containing three different sorts of ions where several electrode reactions occur in parallel. The general conditions were investigated under which steady-state modes of the process exist, and different cases of control of the process by transport limitations were analyzed.
